Wow, what a beautiful spot! This cozy cottage had everything we needed for our romantic escape. The place was spotless and had all the amenities we could ask for. Plus, the host, Phil, was amazing at keeping in touch and gave us awesome recommendations for local restaurants and pubs. And let me tell you, the location couldn't have been better. We were right in the heart of town, with everything within walking distance. It was so convenient! We had the most lovely weekend here and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.
The only hiccup we had was finding the cottage when we first arrived. It was a bit frustrating, but luckily, the host was quick to respond after that and was incredibly accommodating.

The cottage had a charming and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The decor was elegantly rustic, with beautiful antique furniture and tasteful artwork adorning the walls. As a senior woman, I found the layout of the cottage to be easily accessible, with wide hallways and handrails in the bathroom for added safety. It was a pleasure to navigate the premises without any inconvenience or discomfort.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff regarding directions to the cottage upon arrival. However, I must commend the children working there for their prompt response afterwards and their willingness to accommodate our late check-out and storage of our bags.

My friends and I had the sickest time staying at The Oaks Cottage in Penrith! First of all, the cottage was super central and spacious, perfect for our squad. We were able to cycle around the area and explore all the sick cycling trails nearby. And get this, the cottage is just a stone's throw away from 37 Victoria Road, where we could do some epic fishing. It was so rad catching some fish and bragging about our catches. The cottage itself was spotless and had all the amenities we needed for a wicked stay. Massive shoutout to Phil, the host, who hooked us up with awesome tips on local restaurants and pubs. Thanks for sharing your home with us, Phil!
Don't get me wrong, the cottage was amazing, but as young party-goers, we were hoping for a bit more of a party atmosphere.
